If your loft is open to the rest of the home, make it count by keeping it functional but also beautiful. I designed the space for the clients’ books and the many treasures from the Far East they collected. I used an existing Persian carpet, club chair, cocktail table and I added a comfortable sofa, end table and reading lamp. The loft overlooks the upper windows of the family room with a beautiful view of golf course and mountains beyond. So, now the husband has access to his business books just outside his office and the wife has her novels and and a comfortable reading space while enjoying the view from the upper windows of the two-story great room.
