I was selecting paint color for a condo recently. The condo was a corner unit with large expanses of glass and light coming in. The living/dining areas had red Persian designed carpets and a red sofa and chair. I selected a warm neutral for the little bit of wall space that was there. If you sat on the sofa at one end of the space and looked across the dining area and beyond was a wall. The client asked if that could be a feature wall. I told her that she was reading my mind. The client asked what color I was thinking of using and I told her red! There was lots of red at one end of the condo and across the way the warm neutral until you got to the feature wall which would be red. The red on the opposite end of the condo helps to balance the entire space with the use of color.
