Tonight was the last time one could see Painting the Modern Garden: Monet to Matisse at the Cleveland Museum of Art. I was fortunate to see this Sold Out exhibit by the graciousness of a member who was unable to attend. Thank you Bill!
From Monet to Matisse and many others including my favorite artist, John Singer Sargent, room after room of glorious flowers allowed all to bask in its serenity. The Cleveland Museum of Art was the only place in America one could see this unique collection of paintings gathered from near and far.
As an interior designer, I find much inspiration seeing the paintings, sculpture and other art. It’s nearly impossible to take in all that is there in one visit. We Clevelanders have a real treasure in our art museum.
