Do you have a chair or sofa that is faded and warn? If your sofa or chair frames are in good condition and you still like the style, then recovering your furniture is a great way to go “Green”. Do you want to actually use your living room and not have it so formal that you are afraid to have anyone sit in there? I took a pair of formal looking Louis XV chairs that were painted white and upholstered in a silk fabric and had them refinished to a medium wood tone and reupholstered in a neutral woven fabric. The chairs now have a more relaxed, but still an elegant look and I will be more inclined to sit on them.
