One of my favorite things to do when traveling is to visit the local art museums. While visiting friends at their desert home that I had decorated in California, we attended a cocktail party at the Palm Springs Art Museum featuring an artist and his latest work of art – a giant red pencil. Alright, I know, I know. Perhaps not everyone’s favorite type of art but I thoroughly enjoyed my time at the museum.
