The A. E. Monroe showroom at Ohio Design Center had a fabric showing celebrating Schumacher's 125th anniversary. They have updated some of their classic fabrics for today's sensibility. Among the patterns being shown were a trellis design, animal prints, toile, flame stitch, floral chintz, chevron pattern, exotic paisley design and florals. One of my favorite patterns was an Art Deco gazelle.
In some instances Schumacher changed the scale of the pattern and color for today's crowd. In other instances the fabric itself changed to linen or wool. Go to www.fschumacher.com.
