Value-Based Project Fees—Working for the Benefit of the Client

Alexander Interiors offers interior design value-based project fees. The goal—the only goal—is to create interior designs that improve the quality of the client’s life. Therefore, how many hours it takes to develop a design is of little interest or meaning. What matters is the interior design. The more exceptional the design, the greater the improvement in the way the client lives. The value-based approach to design changes the client/designer dynamic to one of value delivered, rather than of hours incurred. Thus, Alexander Interiors does not charge an hourly rate for anything.

What are value-based project fees?

Value-based project fees are based upon the overall value of the project rather than a series of time-based invoices and product mark-ups.

Here's what happens when you work with us:

We work closely with you to conceptually agree on what needs to be done.
Once the scope of the project has been established, a value-based project fee is determined. The project fee is based on the value you receive—not the number of hours worked.

Value-based project fees have many benefits, including:

Clearly Defined Budget. Value-based project fees present the agreed upon, total investment in interior design services upfront, allowing clients to confidently budget and plan.
Increased Savings. All purchases through Alexander Interiors are at the wholesale price (plus sales tax, shipping and handling). Value-based fees serve the client, avoiding high pressure selling tactics and unneeded expenditures.
Focus is on the Project. With value-based fees complete attention is directed towards creating the client’s dream project, making the best decisions to accomplish these interior design goals, rather than tracking the time involved.
Improved ROI. Nearly 7 out of 10 clients want fixed fees because they hate surprises, outrageous bills and high product mark-ups. Our value-based fees do not mark up wholesale prices and avoid accumulative time-based invoicing.
